Abigail Ward

Biography

Abigail Ward, Pasadena, is a senior at United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in Computer Science. Abigail’s academic work has centered on applying computer science to detect foreign misinformation campaigns that sow division and threaten cybersecurity in the United States. A recipient of the USNA Stamps scholarship, Abigail has traveled and studied in Asia to deepen her cross-cultural experiences. On campus, she is raising cultural awareness as president of the Chinese Culture Club and plays fullback on the two-time national champion Varsity Women’s Rugby team.
