Veer Sangha

Biography

Veer Sangha, of Columbia, Missouri, is a recent graduate of Yale College, where he studied computer science. His academic work focuses on the ways artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to improve healthcare globally. As a researcher at the Cardiovascular Data Science Lab at Yale, Veer played a key role in the development of novel AI-enabled technologies that make the detection of cardiovascular disease more accessible in resource-limited settings across the world. He is currently working on scaling and deploying this technology. Outside of science, Veer is a long time soccer and golf enthusiast, and not particularly good at either. He will pursue a D.Phil. in Engineering Sciences with the Computational Health Informatics Lab at Oxford.
