Sharon Xiaohan Zhang

Biography

Xiaohan (Sharon) Zhang is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Peking University, specializing in constitutional and administrative law. Previously, she earned her LL.B. in Zhejiang University as a recipient of Chu Kochen Award, the highest honor of Zhejiang University. Xiaohan has interned with the Supreme People's Court of China, China Academy of Information and Communications Technologies and other research institutions, with experiences in promoting judicial reforms and legislative processes in China. Xiaohan's research focuses on challenges in contemporary public law brought by digitalization and professionalization. To preserve democratic values and empower citizens, she expects to serve as a legal scholar and practitioner specializing in public law and information law in the future.
