Rishi Bansal

Biography

Rishi Bansal received his M.D. and Bachelor of Arts & Science from McMaster University. His published work covers a diverse range of topics, from evaluating financial conflict of interest policy among clinical guidelines to examining the impact of clinician-focused interventions on hospital outcomes. Rishi aspires to a career that brings clinical research, health innovations, and health systems together. He hopes to lead trials that will robustly test new interventions (including drugs, devices, and complex interventions) and subsequently inform health systems-level implementation. In particular, Rishi aims to build cross-cutting collaborations between academic institutions, government, and industry to enable clinical trials at scale. To that end, Rishi is pursuing a DPhil in Population Health at the Nuffield Department of Population Health with a focus on clinical trial methodology to support these endeavors.
