Nuzaina Faisal Khan

Biography

Nuzaina Faisal Khan works at the intersection of AI, law, and governance. Her work explores how emerging technologies shape high-stakes decision-making in contexts where information is limited, contested, or especially sensitive, with a particular focus on conflict, justice, and public institutions. She has conducted research on misinformation and platform integrity at MIT, developed data protection frameworks for international justice investigations at the United Nations, and designed public-interest technology initiatives, including TALASH, a child abduction alert system in Pakistan that informed policy discussions around the country's national child recovery infrastructure. Across her work, she is interested in making complex technical systems more transparent and accountable to the people they affect. As a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, Nuzaina completed an MSc in Social Science of the Internet with Distinction at the Oxford Internet Institute and an MBA at Saïd Business School, where she served as MBA Co-Class President. She holds a BA in Economics and Psychology from Wellesley College, graduating summa cum laude as a Durant Scholar with Honors in Economics, inducted into Psi Chi, and served as the College's Chief Justice.
