Biography
Jamie is a senior at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is a double major in political science (with an international relations focus) and Latin American studies. His undergraduate research on China-Latin America relations and civil-military relations in Latin America has taken him all over the Western Hemisphere, conducting field research in Panama, Colombia, and Guatemala. At Oxford, Jamie hopes to engage with the question of how US security cooperation with partner nations affects respect for human rights.
After studying at Oxford, Jamie will serve as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Air Force.
