Biography

Isabella Turilli is an MPhil student in International Relations at Lincoln College, Oxford, where she studies the evolution of historical understanding and political power of the "pandemic". She was previously a research associate for global health, economics, and development at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Prior to joining CFR, she conducted and published research with the Center for Global Health Science and Security, the Bansal Lab, and as a Fellow with the Georgetown Global Irish Studies Initiative. She has also served extensively as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in the District of Columbia, and worked as an EMT instructor and quality improvement officer with Georgetown EMS and the DC Department of Health. Turilli holds a bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, and International Affairs with a focus on global health policy from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
