Gloria Charité

Biography

Gloria is a senior at Columbia University studying Psychology. She is interested in understanding how we form lasting memories of our everyday experiences. She is a research assistant in the Columbia Dynamic Perception and Memory Lab. Her academic achievements include being valedictorian in one of the best high schools in Rwanda, qualifying for the Columbia Undergraduate Scholars Program, winning the Columbia Business School Undergraduate Fellowship, doing the Psychology honors program, and being on the Dean’s List for two years. In her free time, she enjoys reading, volunteering, learning new languages, volleyball, and recently swimming. In the future, she hopes to contribute to bridging the gap between cognitive psychology research and education practices. At Oxford, she intends to continue doing learning and memory research.
