Biography
Gal has lived in Israel most of her life and started pursuing social activism through the NIR School, a program which endeavours to forge connections between teenagers across the Middle East. At age 16, Gal spearheaded a national campaign educating teenagers on how to prevent sexual violence.
Gal attended Minerva University, a traveling university that took her to five countries in four years. At Minerva, she pursued several different research projects on maternal and neonatal health and did direct service work with underserved populations.
At Oxford, Gal plans to learn more about how medicine and public health can improve the lives of mothers on individual and societal levels. After Oxford, she intends to go to medical school and become a doctor.
