Biography
Tracy Boakye Serebour is a medical doctor and is currently a graduate student at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan-China pursuing masters degree in Orthopaedic Surgery with a research focus in spinal cord injury without radiographic abnormality (SCIWORA) and bone regeneration.
Because of childhood experiences with bone fractures, she is passionate about working in a global community dedicated to expanding orthopaedic healthcare in Africa especially in Ghana through provision of comprehensive, affordable orthopaedic care to those who would not otherwise have access to such treatment.
At Oxford, She intends to continue pursuing research in musculoskeletal science to better understand the sciences underlying musculoskeletal diseases and how research can be used to improve treatment of musculoskeletal diseases.
In her free time, she enjoys playing basketball, reading self-help books for personal development and collecting vinyls of her favourite music albums.
