Shreeya Singh

Biography

Shreeya Singh was born in India and is a senior at Yale University majoring in History with a focus in South Asian studies. She is the founder of Students Against Hindutva Ideology, from which she organized nationwide protests against India's anti-Muslim policies. Shreeya is also a nationally and globally award-winning debater, political chair of Yale's South Asian Society, and has briefed Congress on religious freedom in India. She has worked in multiple congressional offices, on national advertising for a presidential campaign, and as a President's Office Intern at the International Rescue Committee. She hopes to focus her career on advancing causes of political justice and human rights across the globe.
