Ramiz A. Razzak is a fourth-year student majoring in Applied Mathematics and Economics with a minor in Philosophy at Harvard University, where he is a John Harvard Scholar and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honours society. As a Prize Fellow at the Joint Center for History and Economics, Ramiz is committed to his research on the monetary and fiscal tools that we can use to better manage economic crises. Outside of the classroom, he has led Harvard's Federal Reserve Challenge team to a second-place finish at the largest economics competition in the United States and has also co-organized World Model United Nations, an international policy conference. Previously, he has worked in Canadian federal and provincial politics, most recently as a youth counsellor to Quebec's Health Minister.
