Biography
Ziyi Wang is a second-year Master's student at Stanford University studying International Policy. At Stanford, she also obtained her Bachelor's degree in History with a concentration in military history, as well as a minor in French, for which she is a recipient of the academic distinction Pi Delta Phi, the French Honor Society. Ziyi's research experience includes her recent co-publication on an effective public-private response to COVID-19, political communication in China, and the economics of natural capital, for which she was accepted to work for the UNEP. In addition, Ziyi is a leader on the varsity Stanford Women's Golf Team, as she has competed for the Chinese National Golf Team and became the youngest player to win a professional golf tournament in China by age 16. At Oxford, Ziyi hopes to pursue a DPhil in Politics, analyzing the role of historical perspectives in ameliorating Sino-American relations.
