Biography
Rosa is a finalist studying Politics and International Relations at Trinity College, Cambridge. She is writing her dissertation on the links between Frantz Fanon, the Iranian Revolution, and conditions of life in contemporary Iran. Her interest in how politics affect everyday life developed while working as a Constituency Assistant for David Eby, MLA during the pandemic. She also co-founded and is an editor-in-chief of the Cambridge Journal of Political Affairs, was a rapporteur for a conflict mediation NGO, and spent a summer working with refugee children at the BC Newcomer Camp. At Oxford, she intends to pursue an MPhil in Modern Middle Eastern Studies. She aspires to combine expertise and personal proximity to work on the construction of informed narratives about the region through journalism, diplomacy, or academia.
