Biography
Eden was born in Israel and grew up in Ethiopia. She graduated with honors from the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya with a degree in Government, Diplomacy, and Strategy. She worked as a research assistant for the American Presidential Rhetoric Project and volunteered as a teacher and mentor for refugee and migrant children in Tel Aviv. She received two Dean's awards for scholastic distinction. She is the first student from IDC Herzliya to receive the Rhodes Scholarship.
As a first-generation college graduate, Eden is passionate about fighting for equality of opportunities and expanding education to the under-served regions of the world. At Oxford, Eden hopes to to acquire the necessary tools and skills to adequately design policies that are sustainable, efficient, and culturally sensitive.
