Patrick Hickey

Biography

As a graduate of the Ivey School of Business HBA program, Patrick spent one year with RBC Capital Markets as a Global Investment Banking Analyst in Mergers and Acquisitions before beginning a Masters of Public Policy (MPP) at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. While studying the MPP, Patrick began working as a Policy Advisor with the Premier's Office in Newfoundland and Labrador. In the Fall of 2022, Patrick began the Masters of Science in Sustainability, Enterprise and the Environment at the University of Oxford. Patrick is a dynamic leader with a calm demeanour, proudly from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. Interested in how culture and community interact with business and the economy, Patrick is interested in leveraging both business and policy as tools for community development. His interests include purpose-driven finance, current affairs, the fishing industry, and football.
