Biography
Namrata is currently a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, where she is developing machine learning models to better predict the co-crystallisation of pharmaceuticals.
She received her BA with Honors in Physics from UC Berkeley in 2020, where she worked with the Ginsberg Group as an undergraduate researcher. She then pursued her DPhil in Materials Science as a Rhodes Scholar. Under the supervision of Prof. Rebecca Nicholls and Prof. Robert Weatherup, she used density functional theory to interpret the O K-edge x-ray absorption spectra of layered lithium transition metal oxide battery cathodes.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking and spending time in nature.
