Biography
Manpreet aspires to couple empathy and human factors to design more inclusive human-machine interfaces. Trained as a mechanical engineer, she has brought five assistive technologies to life for people with varying abilities and contributed to a provisional patent. Manpreet was the youngest member on the Innovation Team of a leading North American technology company where she helped advance biosensor topology.
At the Oxford Internet Institute, Manpreet's research explored participatory design with people with disabilities, focusing on what it takes to build inclusive digital infrastructure. She also completed an MBA focusing on entrepreneurial finance and venture investing.
In her latest chapter, Manpreet invests in and supports high-growth AI companies at Inovia Capital, a leading venture capital firm anchored in Canada. She has also advised on digitalization and the future of work through the OECD's Youthwise board.
Her work keeps returning to the same intersection: inclusive design, AI, and the systems that determine who gets to participate in the digital world.
