Biography

Arielle C.T. Hudson, Tunica, is a senior at the University of Mississippi majoring in Secondary English Education. Arielle desires to create sustainable and equitable policies in Mississippi through a career in education policy and civil rights. Arielle is the president of the Black Student Union, and as a senator in the Associated Student Body Government, co-authored a resolution to remove a Confederate statue from campus. Through the Marks Education Project, Arielle tutors students across the Mississippi Delta. In 2019, Arielle was crowned USA National Miss Hospitality. At Oxford, Arielle will continue her studies in the areas of education and social policy.
