Ananya Malhotra

Biography

Ananya Agustin Malhotra received an MPhil in History with distinction from Magdalen College, Oxford, where her studies focused on global intellectual history, the history of international order, and 20th-century anticolonial political thought. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Malhotra graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, where her studies focused on international relations and human rights, and her senior thesis studied the legacies of the U.S. nuclear age. Malhotra has held positions at Logische Phantasie Lab, UN Women in New York, and the European Roma Rights Centre in Budapest, Hungary and has worked on several projects with Princeton University’s Program on Science and Global Security. She currently works in nuclear disarmament and nonproliferation policy and research in Washington, D.C. Her interests lie at the intersections of global history, (inter)national security policy, and international law, and she hopes to continue advancing a vision of a more just and peaceful model of global security in all her work.
