Biography
Kristiana L. Yao, Naperville, graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami in 2018. She earned a B.S. in Public Health and B.B.A. in Business Administration, concentrating in Health Management, and maintained a perfect GPA. Kristiana is currently a Dunn Fellow at the State of Illinois, where she advances policy in health and human services. She has worked as health policy staff for the Senate Finance Committee and held several federal policy internships focusing on health equity, including at The White House (Domestic Policy Council) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. A Truman Scholar, she has focused her research on devising better systems for health care delivery. Kristiana will pursue an M.Sc. in Comparative Social Policy at Oxford.
