Biography
Jiaxin is studying for a BSc in Alternative Energy Science and Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where he has held a national scholarship, awarded to the top 0.2% of Chinese students. He has worked as a research assistant on environmental issues with the Shanghai city government and CDP, a not-for-profit international organisation. Besides that, he has served multiple entities, including ENGIE, MSCI, the Shenzhen Institute of Building Research, and the Walt Disney Company. He has extensive volunteer experience, including helping Greenpeace on a documentary about Chinese solar power and strategy consulting for a local NGO, Green Light-year. He has co-authored four published academic articles, including one recently in Applied Energy, a peer-reviewed international journal. He is an avid runner, cyclist, outdoorsman, listener and reader.
