Biography
Brook holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Tasmania, specialising in international law. Through her work and research, she seeks to contribute to equitable and sustainable solutions to global challenges of climate change and poverty. Brook was involved in the Paris Agreement negotiations and has since acted as a legal advisor supporting the Least Developed Countries (LDC) Group at UN climate change negotiations and on the LDC Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Initiative for Sustainable Development. Brook is a co-founder of the UTAS International Justice Initiative, where she helps students gain practical experience as public interest lawyers through providing pro-bono advice to poor and vulnerable countries and groups. She is also a passionate equestrian.
