Biography
Zikri is a senior in the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Finance, Statistics, and International Studies and minoring in Economics, Mathematics, and Philosophy. This past summer, Zikri conducted a research study on zakat and social impact bonds to assess alternative approaches to improving the impact of zakat distribution in his home country. Zikri has also participated in various research studies, including the Customer-Based Corporate Valuation Project, the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program, the Wharton Customer Analytics Initiative, and the Fox Research and Service Fellowship. At Oxford, Zikri hopes to deepen his knowledge and understanding of social entrepreneurship, social finance, and social development. Zikri describes himself as an ardent bibliophile, an indefatigable globetrotter, and a serious foodie.
