Biography
Matthew Rogers, Huntsville, is a senior at Auburn University. He is pursuing a B.E. in Software Engineering and has a GPA of 4.0. An accomplished researcher and practitioner of cybersecurity, Matthew is a national champion in the Cyber Patriot competition and recently interned at the NSA where he focused on cyber operations. At Auburn, Matthew co-founded the Ethical Hacking Club in order to raise awareness of cyber security issues, highlighting the security vulnerability of critical systems and infrastructure. Matthew aspires to "usher in a new generation that can produce the cyber security research, and policy, necessary to prevent our globally connected society from falling apart."
