Biography

Jamie Beaton, 22, graduated from Harvard University, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Applied Mathematics-Economics and Masters in Applied Maths in 3 years, 2 years ahead of schedule. He was also accepted into Stanford's Graduate School of Business, aged 20 - the youngest in the world. In 2013 Jamie co-founded personalised education and mentoring company Crimson Education with Sharndre Kushor in 2013 to help other students break down information barriers to seize the best education and career opportunities. Now with an online network of over 2,000 tutors and mentors, Crimson students have won more than $24 M USD in financial aid and scholarships and received more than 300 offers to top 50 US universities including all Ivy League schools, MIT and Stanford. In 2016 Jamie was awarded 2016 Innovator of the Year by the New Zealand Innovation Awards. In 2017 Jamie spoke at the UN about eradicating poverty. He also featured on the 2017 Forbes Asia - 30 Under 30 List. He loves tennis, poker and Yu-Gi-Oh.
