Biography
Jamie Beaton is the co-founder and CEO of Crimson Education, a global leader in college admissions consulting, helping high schoolers gain acceptance to top universities like Harvard, Stanford, and Yale. Crimson has grown to a network of 20,000 students, 2,300 tutors, and mentors across 20+ countries, raising over $85M from top venture investors like Tiger Global.
A graduate of Harvard University (Magna Cum Laude) with a Bachelors and Masters in Applied Mathematics, Jamie also holds an MBA and Masters in Education from Stanford Graduate School of Business (Arjay Miller Scholar). He completed his DPhil in Public Policy on the Rhodes Scholarship, focusing on online learning, and earned a JD from Yale Law School and a Master of Finance from Princeton University. Most recently, he completed a Master of Health Policy and Economics program at Weill Cornell Medicine, Department of Population Health Sciences.
In 2020, Jamie launched Crimson Global Academy, a fully-accredited online high school with 2,000+ students from 30 countries, offering A Level and AP curricula. The academy is supported by an advisory board including Sir John Key, former New Zealand Prime Minister, and Kevin Rudd, former Australian Prime Minister.
