Biography
Alexander Lachapelle is a graduating Medical Doctor from McGill University, working at the intersection of technological innovation and clinical care. He spent a year away from his studies to work in an artificial intelligence start-up in New York City, applying machine learning to diagnostic medicine. He shares an interest in policy, and was elected to represent the 1.3 million members of the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations for medical education issues. Alexander sat on the executive board of the World Federation for Medical Education, and was president of the McGill Student Surgical Society. He is a Terry Fox scholar. Alexander also enjoys traveling, playing the guitar and learning new languages.
