Timur Ohloff

Biography

Timur Ohloff graduated from Freie Universität Berlin with a B.A. in North American Studies and Political Science, which he completed with a perfect grade point average. A DAAD and German National Academic Foundation scholar, he spent his junior year at Duke University studying American politics. His senior thesis, for which he conducted a national survey experiment, examined how politics affects people's partner preferences. Timur has worked for U.S. House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, the German Embassy Washington, and the Green Parliamentary Group in the Bundestag. A German-Turkish citizen, political activist, and cancer awareness advocate, Timur aspires to become a public servant.
