Biography
Saul Musker completed his BA (cum laude) at the University of the Witwatersrand. His Honours thesis focused on regional migration in Southern Africa, and the experiences of migrants and asylum-seekers in inner city Johannesburg. In 2016 he co-authored a book on the limits of liberal constitutionalism in South Africa with Professor Stuart Woolman of the University of the Witwatersrand and Columbia University Law Schools. He is a columnist at The Daily Maverick, a South African news and analysis publication, and his first novel, No Word Like Home, was shortlisted for the 2016 Dinaane Award for Debut Fiction. In his spare time, Saul is a debater, a compulsive reader of fiction, a long-distance swimmer and a triathlete.
