Biography
Saman completed her Bachelors in English with a History minor from Lahore University of Management Sciences in 2016. She remained on the Deans Honor List, received an Award of Distinction and the first Razia Waseem Award for Best Senior Thesis in English, which is being revised for publication. As a research assistant she organized a workshop for training archivists in Pakistan, documented testimonies for a Digital humanities project, assisted in an inquiry on Pakistan's cultural and political history and researched on Pakistan's transgender community. Her study interests include South Asian literatures, print cultures, gender and social reform, the Anglophone novel, World Literatures and Orientalism. She is an artist. Currently, she is RA for digital archive projects, a TA at LUMS and writer for an international magazine, Tanqeed.
