Biography
Nancy Ko, is a senior at Harvard , where she concentrates in history and Near Eastern languages and civilizations. The daughter of Korean immigrants, with proficiency in both Hebrew and Arabic, as well as four additional languages, she is writing her senior thesis on the political life of Jews in Iran during the Persian constitutional revolution of 1905. She is an organizer of Open Hillel, dedicated to promoting open discourse about Israel andPalestine, and is senior editor of the Harvard Undergraduate History Review. She has won college and national awards in history, Jewish studies, and German language and literature. She is also a skilled knitter and a marathon runner.
