Biography
Karima is a recent graduate of the University of Nairobi. She has also completed a BSc. Medical Physiology from which she graduated with First Class Honors in 2014. At the university she has served as National Officer for Reproductive Health & HIV/AIDS of the Medical Students Association of Kenya (MSAKE) and has also served as the Editor of the Association of Medical Students of University of Nairobi (AMSUN). She is passionate about research specifically the application of evidence based interventions and innovation towards the goal of a healthier population. At Oxford, through the DPhil in Population Health she hopes to gain skills bridge the health research gap in her country to influence policy in the longer term.
