Biography
Joshua is a Chief of Staff and Director of Supply Chain Strategy for a Stealth Startup focusing on autonomous solutions. Prior to this role, he drove projects for Global Growth at Schmidt Futures, a philanthropic initiative of Eric and Wendy Schmidt. In his spare time, Joshua writes for and is the creator of The Africa Brief — a weekly briefing on news and trends shaping the African continent. He has published numerous pieces on African public health and trade policy.
He holds a Masters of Public Policy (with Distinction) and an MSc in African Studies from the University of Oxford where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar. He achieved his Oxford Blues in Water Polo. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Laws (with Distinction) and a Bachelor of Social Science (with Distinction in Political Studies) from the University of Cape Town.
