Biography
Joshua B. Pickar is in his final year at the University of Chicago Law School. He graduated in just two years from the George Washington University, summa cum laude, with a major in international affairs and a concentration in security policy. He speaks Russian, French and Spanish, is learning German, Italian and Arabic, and has studied in Japan and Russia. While at GW, Josh worked in the office of then-Senator John Kerry. Josh has worked in immigration law, conducting attorney fraud investigations at the Department of Justice and successfully advocating for an LGBT Iraqi refugee's relocation to the US after being beaten and exiled from his family. Josh would like to further his interest in international politics and law during his time at Oxford.
