Biography
Claire Gummo is a Political Studies student at Queen's University as a Loran Scholar. In 2015, she led a team of students to develop and deliver bystander intervention training, in order to mobilize the university community to recognize and prevent sexual violence. Currently, Claire is a student representative on the Queen's University Provost's Implementation Team on Prevention and Response to Sexual Violence, as well as the associated Working Group where she has assisted in the development of Queen's landmark sexual violence policy. An avid figure skater, Claire is also a Research Assistant at the Centre for International and Defence Policy and a Gender Consultant to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
