Biography
Aaron Gluck Thaler is a Mechanical Engineering student at McGill University working at the intersection of law, technology, and social progress. Passionate about ensuring that developments in technology strengthen fundamental rights and freedoms, Aaron focuses his research on government surveillance, the oversight of intelligence agencies, and cybersecurity public policy. He has worked for the leading organizations researching issues of human rights and civil liberties in a digital age, including, most recently, Harvard University's Berkman Klein Center. Aaron has led advocacy campaigns in Canada to reform government surveillance laws and enjoys running, hiking, and building robots.
