Biography
Qhayiya earned her physiotherapy degree with distinction at UCT in 2014 and was awarded the Top Clinical Student prize. She completed her community service year at Zithulele Mission Hospital in the rural Eastern Cape. Her passion is healthcare and rehabilitation in rural areas. She was Vice-Chair for the Rural Support Network and a member of SHAWCO Physiotherapy. Being interested in student governance, she was Head Student at her university residence and a member of Student Parliament at UCT. She enjoyed being a children's leader at her local church.
