Biography
Logan C. Jackson, Lexington, is a senior at Northeastern University, where she concentrates in structural engineering. She has earned a perfect academic average while doing considerable research relating to the detection of structural collapse, and has done cooperative education work with some of the world's leading construction firms. Logan is President of the Northeastern chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers, and a violist in her university's symphony orchestra. She has also been a leader in community services relating to local refugees in Kentucky, low-income housing and employment, tutoring and mentoring. Logan is Northeastern's first Rhodes Scholar.
