Biography
Jennifer C. Hebert, Pittsburgh, is a senior at the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in the Biological Basis of Behavior. A varsity oarswoman and a member of the U.S. National Rowing Team, she competed in the Under-23 World Rowing Championships in Linz, Austria. She is also an adaptive rowing instructor, assisting and instructing physically and cognitively disabled rowers. Elected as a junior to Phi Beta Kappa, she has studied the mechanisms underlying memory, and has been drawn to drug addiction research. She is currently conducting research for her senior honors thesis exploring the effects of nicotine exposure or stress on neural circuitry.
