Biography
Carley-Jane Stanton is a student of Agriculture and Resource Economics at the University of Alberta. With research experience in Canada and India using both quantitative and qualitative analysis, Carley-Jane has a well-rounded foundation in mixed-method academic work. As a city-dwelling food activist, Carley-Jane has contributed to her food community through her involvement in community gardening, her work founding the Alder Food Security Society, and as the youngest citizen ever appointed to the Edmonton Food Council. Carley-Jane's research interests lie in the areas of agricultural economics, food security, and intersectional feminism.
