Biography
Born in Belgrade, Bogdan was two years old when his parents and he immigrated to Toronto, Canada. A few years later, he started swimming in a youth program which led, in 2009, to his acceptance of an offer from the perennial powerhouse University of Calgary swim team and his entry into that University's Bachelor of Science (Honours) program. Having spent his summers in Toronto and each academic year in Calgary, Bogdan completed his degree in Neuroscience and concluded his final year as Captain of the swim team and his run of five straight years as an Academic All-Canadian Scholar-Athlete. At Oxford, Bogdan completed his DPhil in Clinical Medicine, where his research focused on preclinical drug target prioritization and genomics. Currently, Bogdan is co-fonder & CEO of Kaleidoscope Bio (https://www.kaleidoscope.bio) where he is focused on building software to make R&D more collaborative and scalable.
