Biography

Amy is currently a Solicitor at the State Solicitor’s Office of Western Australia. Amy was the Rhodes Scholar for Western Australia in 2015. From UWA she holds a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) with majors in English, French and Italian, and a Master of International Journalism with Distinction. She completed a Masters with Distinction and DPhil in Modern Languages at Oxford from 2015-2020, supported primarily by the Rhodes Scholarship, as well as by the Clarendon Scholarship and Oxford Moussouris Merton Graduate Scholarship. Amy served as President of the Middle Common Room at Merton College, Oxford, from 2018-19, and enjoyed captaining the Merton Tennis team for a year during her studies. Since returning to Australia, Amy completed a Juris Doctor with Distinction. From 2023 to 2025, she served on the National Environmental Law Association Climate Change Working Group. She has also undertaken arbitrator and mediator training. She is passionate about advocacy and committed to supporting other emerging lawyers. Amy has recently served as a selector on the Western Australian and national (Australia at Large) Rhodes Scholarship panels and looks forward to continuing her involvement in the Rhodes community.
