Samuel Greene

Biography

Samuel M. Greene is currently an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. His research involves using atomic-scale physics-based computer simulations to study materials for energy storage and carbon capture. He received his PhD in Chemical Physics from Columbia University in 2022 and BS and MS degrees from the University of Chicago in 2014. He is passionate about mentoring and volunteers as a mentor through the Goldwater Scholarship program. He enjoys spending his free time outdoors with friends and family.
