Biography
Robert has just completed his BA (Hons) in International Relations and Indonesian and is extremely passionate about ending poverty. He is currently working as the Hobart Coordinator for The Big Issue's Community Street Soccer Program, which promotes social inclusion through sport. Robert has recently stepped down after two and a half years as Tasmanian Director of Oaktree, Australia's first and largest entirely youth- and volunteer-run development organisation. For relaxation, Robert plays for the Tasmania University Cricket Club, is a goalkeeper with Taroona FC, and attempts to coax music out of guitars, banjos, and saxophones. In the long term, Robert aspires to combine theory and practical experience to shape ideas about tackling global poverty.
