Biography

Mubashir graduated this year with a distinction on the Dean's Honours List from his university. Inspired by the works of Anti Slavery International (the world's oldest human rights organization), he worked as an activist to raise a voice against the prevalence of modern slavery taking place in shape of bonded labour in Pakistan. He further had an opportunity to spend a semester abroad as an Ernst Mach Scholar in Graz, Austria where he studied for the Global Business Program. An avid lover of cinema, Mubashir has a keen interest in the evolution of motion pictures and particularly in 'Method' style of acting. His further interests include debating, watching and playing cricket and football, extensive hiking as well as trekking in the Northern Areas of Pakistan. Longer-term, Mubashir aspires to work as an economist in the financial sector to help devise a financial system that promotes an all inclusive economic growth in the country.
