Biography
Clarke Knight, PhD, is a climate scientist with over a decade of experience leading projects about climate risk and resilience, such as wildfire, floods, and extreme weather. Currently, Clarke conducts research at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California as a Lawrence Fellow. Her work focuses on atmospheric river storms, flooding, and other natural disasters like wildfire. Prior to joining LLNL, Clarke earned a PhD from UC Berkeley and then completed a postdoc at the U.S. Geological Survey in Mountain View, California. She resides in the Bay Area with her husband, Ian.
