Biography
Charles S. Tyson, Chapel Hill, is a senior at the University of Virginia where he double majors in political and social thought and in English. A Beinecke Scholar and elected to Phi Beta Kappa as a junior, he was managing editor and is now executive editor of The Cavalier Daily, where he writes the daily lead editorials and edits all opinion content. He was widely recognized for his coverage of the ouster and reinstatement of the University of Virginia president Teresa Sullivan, has won many awards for excellence in English, and is advisory board member of the Institute of the Humanities & Global Cultures.
