Aurora Griffin

Biography

Aurora C. Griffin, Washington, D.C., is a founding and managing partner of two investment platforms: SCIF Capital Management, focused on critical minerals, energy, and infrastructure, and Why Hello, focused on impact investing. After studying Classics at Harvard, she earned her M.Phil. from Oxford in Theology and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Her career has spanned the U.S. State Department, academic research, wealth management, venture capital, and private equity. She brings the same cross-domain restlessness that once drew her from classics to bioethics to building investment infrastructure at the intersection of capital markets, emerging technology, and long-term societal impact. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her partner, daughter, and a very good dog.
