This event is free and open to the public.

In our May event, Katharine Wilkinson (Tennessee & Trinity 2006) will discuss her latest book, Climate Wayfinding: Healing Ourselves and the Planet We Call Home.

Katharine Wilkinson co-founded and leads The All We Can Save Project, where she shaped the much-beloved programs All We Can Save Circles and Climate Wayfinding. Previously, she was the principal writer and editor-in-chief at Project Drawdown. With a singular blend of warmth and rigor, she facilitates and speaks widely, including a TED Talk with more than 2 million views, and periodically teaches as a visiting professor. She holds a DPhil in geography and environment from the University of Oxford, where she was a Rhodes Scholar, and a BA in religion from Sewanee: The University of the South. In 2019, Time magazine named her one of fifteen “Women Who Will Save the World.” She lives with her loves in Atlanta, Georgia, and finds her deepest joy on a mountain or a horse.

We are delighted that Humairaa Moosa (KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa & Worcester, 2024) will be moderating the discussion. Humairaa, or “May” to friends, is currently completing her MBA after an MSc in Sustainability, Enterprise & the Environment at Oxford, where she worked on climate adaptation as a research fellow with the United Nations Development Programme and the Global Resilience Partnership. An avid reader, she is currently writing her first novel and remains cautiously optimistic about the future of climate action.
