Eric Redman is a Seattle-based writer, lawyer, and climate activist who for decades has loved the Big Island of Hawaii, its history, and its people. He is a former contributing editor of Rolling Stone and has written for the New York Times, Washington Post, and many other publications. He wrote the nonfiction best-seller, The Dance of Legislation.

Jamie is the Rhodes Trust’s Advancement & Engagement Manager, North America. In her role, she works to connect Scholars with each other and with the Trust, and partners with the community to build support for the Trust’s 125th Anniversary Strategic Plan and today’s Scholars in Oxford. She has a deep appreciation for storytelling and, as a fan of mystery novels, is particularly thrilled at the chance to dive into discussions with Eric about Bones of Hilo and Death in Hilo.
